hdmi

I am currenty researching tvs. Price is an issue though I would like to get something that will last and has a decent picture. My research shows that a tv can have 1 or 2 HDMI connections. Does it matter? I am unlikely to use the tv for games or computing or any external device except recording.

Both may need a HDMI socket.
Personally I would not buy a TV with a single HDMI socket, and some people suggest you get one with 3.
If you want the TV long term dont even consider a TV with one HDMI so go for one with two.
