There is probably a simple answer but... I use a mini computer, C-drive 20G capacity, for my I-pod. I have downloaded in excess of 8G to my I-tunes/downloads and hence onto my i-pod. My drive is almost full and I would like to 'free up' space by removing the music from the computer but keeping it on the i-pod and adding more from time to time. However, if I connect my i-pod, when it 'synchs', I'll lose all the existing i-pod music. How can I continue to add to the i-pod from i-tunes without losing existing music?
