Thank you for your reply. I am Win98se so this does not apply. However, whilst there I looked around and checked what my CD-ROM disc contained. As I thought, the files I need are on it. MY problem is, I don't know how to extract them! doh. Or, rather, I know how to but not what "path" to enter. I've been trying all sorts of combinations in the extract tool to no avail. I am now thinking of trying D:\Win98_48.cab.File as this is where it's listed on the site. Will let you know how I get on but would appreciate it if you could possibly tell me what I need to enter in the box for where to extract these files from? (obviously D:\ must be the start (as the CD ROM is in that drive)
VXD's are dynamically created, depending on your hardware. Their personal to your machine. I would remove all work and rebuild. To be fair, if you did fix it, could you trust it?
