My computer has been repaired with a new hard-drive and has come back with a separate "caddy". I`m told that the caddy contains all my details from the old hard-drive and that I should go through all the info on the caddy and transfer what I need to keep onto the new hard-drive.
Just what does a "caddy" do, is it simple to use, and is there anything I should be careful about?
A caddy is just a hard disk in a box so that you can use it externally (by plugging into a USB port). Plug it in, go to my computer and it will appear as a drive, which you can explore and copy any of your files over to you machine.
