saving acrobat .pdf file

I've downloaded a job application form in adobe acrobat .pdf, I can fill it in and I save it ,but when re-opened all the entries are lost. Can anyone help please?

pdf files are read only - you can't amend them. You will have to print out the form and send or fax it in. You could always contact the company and ask if they have a copy in Word.

If you only have Acrobat Reader then the above is true but if you have the full version of Acrobat and the pdf file is not protected then you should be able to fill in your details and then "save as" whatever filename you choose. Your form should now be complete.

Thanks Joanne-G, I've not got the full version so I'll just have to print out and scan in to keep a copy.
