I have a speed touch modem with an aerial thingy on it. When I got it I think I remember the computer man saying it meant I could use internet over the house with other computers. Is this wi-fi? Or is that something else? Or am I wrong? Or does the aerial on my modem do nothing? I am confused!

it's either a router ... or your modem has a lolly stick on the side

look underneath and see if there is a model number
