Will my Norton 360 "uninstall" by itself after my yearly subscription runs out or will I have to uninstall it myself before downloading a new anti-virus programme?
This is unknown territory to me so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

it will carry on running, but you won't get any updates. if you want to get rid of it (good luck, it's hard work!), you will have to un-install it yourself. if you want to use a different anti-virus, it won't like any elements of Norton hanging around.
LOL @ will norton uninstall itself!!

Its a pain to make it uninstall when your trying to. You will need to download and use the norton removal tool to get rid of it.
