Tom Tom GPS Setting the Time

I am unable to figure out how to set the time on my Tom Tom GPS. I received a response from someone saying I should go to Menu/Settings and adjust it there. Please be more specific. Where is this Menu option? When I link my Tom Tom to my computer, I pull up Tom Tom Home, I'm in the main menu but there's no settings icon. I do not see any menu/settings option on the device itself. Please, if anyone can assist, be VERY SPECIFIC about where I should go to update this setting. Thank you,

You don't say which TomTom, but on my 730 the time is set on the device itself not using TomTom Home. Power on the device, tap the screen until the main menu appears, tap 'change preferences' on page 1 of the main menu. Then tap the amber 'next' arrow until you get to the 'set clock' option, mine is on page 8 of 8, and voila.

You do not say which Tom Tom Sat. Nav you have but on my XXL2 and using Tom Tom home you do not set the time clock using Tom Tom home. Switch on your Sat Nav and on the opening screen click on options scroll through the options and you should come to a screen where it says set clock. Hope this helps you.
