Merry Xmas to everyone,

Actually I'm trying to connect EPSON EMPx3 to my DELL Laptop (Inspiron 6400). But there is not signal. The projector has a RGB Output, a RGB Input and a S-Video. I run two OS in my HD, when I switch to other partition I mean Vista, I get signal automatically, but I'm getting trouble only with XP. Do I need to install any particular driver?
I tried all procedures but no result. Can anybody help?

Thanks,

Bonny

Try holding down the fn key and pressing f8 in XP

Or if that does nothing right click on the desktop, select properties, click on the settings tab and then advanced. if you have a diplays tab then click on that and you should be able to change the display output settings there.
merry Christmas bonny, merry Christmas smart arse Chuckie ♥ xx
Thanks sara :)

Bonny, if it still isn't working then download the latest drivers from the dell website for the graphics card (under video)

there seems to be an ATI driver, an Intel driver and a Nvidia driver, don't know what card your lappy has so try all, only one will work but it won't hurt trying to install the wrong ones, it just won't install. (try the Nvidia one last as it's a big download!)

Thank you ChuckFickens,

It was necessary to download Intel driver, to upgrade my graphic card. It works, I got signal now. Thanks one more time.
I'm closing this thread now.
