can I transfer my itunes libary to another computer

I am having trouble installing the latest version of itunes on my desktop computer so know I cant use my new ipod nano on it but I can on my laptop so is it possible to tramsfer all my music from my desktop pc to my laptop or will I have to open a totally new itunes account for my laptop.

Of course, you can. You may refer to this step by step guide, it will teach you how to transfer iTunes library to another computer, it's easy to understand and works pretty well for me. It's safe and it will not delete your iTunes music and video.
