Hi all

I am trying to move some mail from Outlook Express 6 on one computer to Outlook 2003 on another

I've moved all the mail I want to move to a single mail folder under OE6 and copied the .dbx file to the other machine. I'd expected to just be able to Import the mail from this file - but Outlook 2003 only prompts me for a FOLDER name where it expects to find a "mail file". Nowhere can I find how to tell it the NAME of my .dbx file, so the import always fails to open the file

What am I doing wrong??

Thanks for any suggestions

Import the stuff first into Outlook Express on the new machine, then you can easily import it from there to Outlook

Good idea - how do I find Outlook Express on the new pc?

It doesn't appear anywhere in the Start menu?

I know it's supposed to be part of Explorer, but how do I start it?!

Thanks

Right-click the desktop, choose new shortcut
Browse to "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe"
Click OK
Click Next
Type the name "Outlook Express"
Click Finish
