How do I print just Black & White?

I print using an Epson DX4800. Sometimes I only want to print a document / email / screen shot in Black & White but seem unable to select this option. Can anuone advise how, or if this is posible? I'm not technically very adept - so please be gentle!

My printer is an epson DX8400 and when you click on print i then select the properties button, then on the advacced tab then about half way down that box there is an option for 'use black ink only' that has a box you need to 'tick' then you should be able to print in B&W using only the black ink and not wasting any of the colours.
