Hi folks, could do with a bit of advice.

I am buying a Sony Alpha 200 SLR for my daughter, have been reading up on them and it has good reviews, been looking at CF's but not sure where to go with them, there is so many to choose from. Could someone tell me if a 4GB one is as good as an 'extreme IV'. Have got a bit lost on it all. I am going on the higher the number the better it is, am I right ? or should I go for a MSPD?

Cheers

compact flash (CF) and memory stick pro duos (MSPD) are just different brands of memory card. they both do excatly the same thing.

The only real things to worry about is price and size in GB... everything else is fairly unimportant. the higher the size in GB the more photos that can be stored. 4gb should be enough for most people though.

Go for compact flash as it's cheaper and just get as cheap as you can get.
