Help with Samsung U600 mobile

Hi, hoping someone can help with an odd problem. When I send a text on my Samsung U600, it comes up with a default number of someone in my contacts list. I tried deleting the contact, now it just comes up with his number!

This happens when I create a new message or press the new message shortcut key.

I have to delete the number then select a new contact each time.

What a pain! It's a bit of a trigger-happy phone too, especially if your thumbs are more than 2mm wide!
