DDE Window Server

I have started getting a popup when shutting down about "DDE Server Window not resonding"
It has only just started appearing.
Anybody know whay this is all about, and how to stop it?

PS Searched for it on web but all info (majority of which I don't understand) is about 4 years old.

However, what about trying updating your OS in case there is a fix that has somehow got missed?
There is advice for XP on the link, but not Vista.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately the link is a bit above my head.
Will keep going through it to see if I can figure it out.
But would you believe - last night PC shut down with no problems, apart from the Firefox icon fluttering for about 5 seconds.
