Program taking over

I use Irfanview as my default Imaging program, but liked the look of Serif CodedColour PhotoStudio so installed it but...... the latter has now taken over, so I wondered if it was possible to keep both programs but using Irfanview as the main one? Thank you.

open windows explorer. Click on Tools > Folder options... Then go to the 'File types' tab and there you can select which program you want to open which kind of file.

Or open IrfanView, go to Options > Set File Associations. Check every file you want to open with IrfanView and OK it.

Thanks to you guys it's now been sorted, but  I shall keep a copy of your instructions for further use as I'm not that confident in dealing with File Types or Associations.
