does anyone know how i can write text and make it fill a shape on a page....?
or make the block of text fill the large outlined letters of a name...??

Presuming you have the Word program........

On a new page choose the INSERT tab and click the WORDART tool.
You should now have a smaller text box where you can write the text you want. Click the ok and you'll see the text in the shaped box you chose. To alter or further edit the same text, simply click on the text which will re-activate the textbox with a dotted outline so you can select any of the options shows above.
Have a play with the 3-D option, it is cool!
