bank 7 credt card charge reclaiming

hi, ive worked out over the last 6 years i have had nearly 3.5k of charges from 3 bank accounts and 2 credit cards.

i know there is a halt on reclaiming bank charges through the FOS. but i can still try with the banks.

does anyone with any inside info (ex or current employees) of capital 1, lloyds tsb, halifax and nationwide
know what i can put on my template letters to the banks to make them sit up and pay out.
also who makes the decisions to pay out...
as i find it really intriguing how some banks are paying up straight away to some people but are not with others

i got the template letters off of martin lewis website.

im really skint at the minute so this small fortune could change my life dramaticaly as it would clear all my debts (apart from my mortgage obvioulsy!)

ive just put in a claim witn personal finance claims to wipe clean the 9k balance of my credit card and recieve 70% of my previous illegal interest payments ,credit agreement had to be signed before 2007.
have you heard about this claim company or anything similiar or any advice??good or bad is it a con what are template etc.
