false web page ?????

my home page is set on google,,but the google enmblem is not the same,i cannot make it out,since this new web page has been installed my computer has been going haywire and i cannot access my email or anything,im not that clued in with computers and would like some advice please,when i try access my email a security centre message comes up which didnt happen before...

today's Google emblem is a Jackson Pollock painting, in honour of his birthday

PS you can just make out the word 'Google' in it. If in doubt, hover your arrow/cursor over it and a caption will appear
