We were going to get a new 37" tv but now I've decided to go for a 32" instead. If anyone knows anything about tv's could they have a look at these two and tell me which they think would be best, thanks.

I think you'll regret not going for the extra 5 inches :-o
I think bigger is better - I have a 32" and am jealous of my daughter's 42"

We only sit about 10 ft from the tv at the most and generally only 6 or 7ft so I just felt 37" was too big for a distance like that.
agree totally flob
they are like 4wd "tractors" no one knows why they need one ,,, but it's going to be bigger than any of the others on the road

I'd have the LG - but I'd also go to currys and have 10 minutes in front of each ..
Of the two I would go for the LG.

However, that is quite an old model. Neither are full HD which means that you will not get the best from HD transmissions when they become more readily available or Blu-ray disks when they take over.

If you are not price sensitive, and want to future-proof you telly (You don't want it obsolete in 3 years time) then go for the LG7000 series.

Phew, I went for the LG there before I saw the last two posts, gonna hook it up now in a while, but not too bothered about HD either so long as the picture is decent.
