If you would like to share the websites name with us,maybe we could try it and see?
If your friends are able to access it,it may be your browser, what one are you using?
Question Author
Thank you, the website is redhouse.co.uk.
I've tried with IE and Firefox.
A friend who has been unable to access it to has tried with IE, Firefox, Google and Safari. His ISP is BT, mine Tiscali, he runs Vista and I have XP. I use AVG 8 Free, him Norton. Two other friends have not experienced any problems, I'm not sure what browser they used though.
are you trying to access it through a desk top shortcut ? or typing it into a browser ?
Question Author
Originally from my list of favourites but have tried typing it into the browser and Redhouse emailed me a link which I've tried - just get IE could not display this page or timed out on Firefox.
Just tried it on a Mac in Explorer, Safari, Opera Firefox. All open it fine.
clear your temp internet files, that might stop it loading
Question Author
Deleted temporary internet files, still no joy.
are you sure you have an internet connection, can you load other sites?
sorry, just realised how silly that question was when you're posting questions on here..oops

Just tried the link and no luck I'm afraid.
It looks like your internet service provider's DNS server is not resolving the IP address correvtly.

Last suggestion. Try this link

have been in discussion with my ISP and they have advised changing dns servers but still no joy...
It's your firewall.
Question Author
Okay, what do I do if it's the Firewall?
