Personal Alarms

I am looking to buy a personal alarm (pendant/bracelet/watch) that has a button on it that will notify me or the emrgency services should one of my parents fall or be ill. GPS I imagine would also be a requirement? Is it possible to but something that does not need to be on a contract. Is there something I can buy that connects to a mobile phone maybe via bluetooth?

i hope someone cN answer for you. I myself have never heard of such a device - the only ones i know of are the ones that go through to a manned line, who can talk to the person (if they are indoors) and then call their nominated person. You can buy mobile phones where you can programme 1 of 5 buttons just to call you
