What is the best program to use for making a video calll Skpe or some oher program eg. Windows Live, Aol instant Messenger ?

Both skype and LIVE messenger will do what you want (I/ve never used AIM)

Do the people you want to chat to already use a certain program? if so probably best to go with whatever they already use, if not then there isn't much to chose between skype or LIVE but think skype would have the edge for me just.
