yesterday i ordered something from the internet and the payment went through but i never recieved a confirmed email like i did with a next order on another website,so i emailed the company and this is what they emailed back..............................""I have just looked into your order and the payment failed at our end, we require exact billing details to match to your bank card or the payment online is not always successful. Sometimes the bank takes out a shadow payment waiting for us to collect it and holds the money for up to five days. If you wish to place the order over the phone we can put through your payment details at this end and it usually clears.
now,i had to do the order over the phone which i assume went through as again the same amount disapeared out of my account,now this aint a scam as i know of the company and know that their legit, has anyone heard of this 5 day shadow payment? and can i request for it to be put back into my account sooner? could the company have taken the amount twice without knowing about it?
