Anyone know if it's right that i have to keep the ignition on all the time for my phone to work with new parrot MKi9200 thanks

that's going to depend entirely on where they took the power from when it was installed and nothing whatever to do with the parrot

if your power comes from the cigarette lighter you'll need to get it changed so that it's permanently live rather than ignition live.
