I'm having trouble getting on to certain websites. When I type the addresses in (http://news.bbc.co.uk) I'm unable to go further. Sometimes I get google search results of it (which I shouldn't do - it should just put me straight on the website) but when I click on the correct link, I still get a message saying 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'. Any suggestions?

do you use any kind of internet speed booster?
does
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news
work

and the link you supplied
http://news.bbc.co.uk)/
shows a bracket - have you checked your link?

Hi again. Sorry about the bracket it was a typo. The BBC page works in AOL but not in my IE.
And, no, I don't use any type of internet speed booster.
Furthermore, it's affecting both of my laptops and my main PC so I'm guessing that it's some kind of network problem?!
Thanks for your suggestions so far though.
do you use the google toolbar?

there has been some scripting errors this week that are still causing minor problems

if is so - uninstall google - change the default search engine ... you can put it all back if no change
