lost wireless

me again, I seem to be having a bad run
yesterday lunch time I had 2 laptops connected via my wireless router, turned them off after, came home later, turned them back on- No connection!!
signal strength is good and I can see other networks in the area, can also connect using ethernet cable so its just the wireless that's failed and I havn't touched anything
router is a netgear WGR614
are they fixable do you know or do I bin it and get another

oops, fixed it meself, checked for updates and wireless suddenly came back on when downloading update
