my friend accidentally spilt liquid on their laptop is it repairable

yes .... just tell them to open another can .....



they need to switch off and remove the battery

leave it open and put it in the airing cupboard or somewhere warm ... but not hot

leave for atleast a couple of days .... and DO NOT switch on "just to see"
It also depends what the liquid was. Anything with sugar in it is pretty much impossible to shift.
I got this tip off another ab-er and it worked for me .I dropped my phone in a glass of water. Wrap battery in kitchen roll paper and put in a box with rice and salt and leave in airing cupboard or anywhere warm for a few days. But might not work with laptop but worth a try.
yes you can repair it.

first of all open the battery of the laptop and put the laptop into the sunlight .

for some time you can take and try to start .

and the liquid damages the motherboard. so use it very carefully

The sugar and rice act as dessicants which draw out the moisture. If its water you may get away with it. Tea, coffee, beer or most other things will leave a residue as mentioned earlier.
