bullguard..how do i uninstall it...help please

i want to install active x flash player to play tunes from u tube,,,,,i have just recently re booted and cleaned my laptop as it was running slow ,so now its back to its original state when i first bought it and has all the old programmes back such as bullguard etc,,so now i want to uninstall bullguard but it wont let me...i try to install a flash player to listen to music but when i try its saying that bullguard wont let it install....its driving me mad...when i try to uninstall bullgaurd its not letting me !!! how do i get rid of this once and for all,,,,gggrrrrrr please help

if you are unable to uninstall the application then do a filesearch for the word "Bullguard", then delete any folders associated with the software.

this should stop it from working and allowing you to uninstall it from the programs in control panel

^ bad advice.

if you delete the folders you will probably get loads of errors at startup about the computer not being able to find files, and you certainly won't be able to uninstall it because you will have deleted the uninstall program!

you have to stop the bullgaurd service first by right clicking on the bullguard icon by the clock and selecting close, then click start > all programs > bullguard and then select uninstall.

however, if you just stop bullguard you should be able to install the flash player with out uninstalling it. (which would be better!)
