Hi, this is REALLY stoopid,  i know so please dont laugh... but how do i find out my MSN / messenger ID to give to other people i know? is it my email address or is there a more 'private' id?

For people to add you to their msn (or Windows) messenger, you giove them your e-mail (hotmail or msn). You can have displayed what you want under preferences so if for example your e-mail address was potatoman @ hotmail.com .. you could have Dennis or Fred displayed.
