Activex controls

"Do you want to allow Activex controls and plug-ins to run?" Yes/No/X This box appears and reappears three times every two or three minutes.It makes no difference whether I click Yes , No or X Im sure its not difficult to get rid of this ,I just dont know how.Please help!!!!!

Sorry VHG a bit late in replying but yes i am using Internet Explorer

you can turn off the active x


1. Under the Windows Start menu, select the Settings | Control Panel
2. Double-click on the Internet icon .
3. Select the Security tab
4. Make sure that the Internet zone is selected.
5. Select the Custom level option for the Internet zone.
6. Push the Settings button for the Custom level.
