Also have you ever taken an instant dislike to someone even though they have never spoken to you? I have I just can't help it .

Yes sarah you are right but when you get this feeling nothing will make you like that person but perhaps that is only me that thinks that. There is one woman in street she has done me no harm and first time I saw her I did not like her . And still don't.. And I don't think I am better than anyone else.
I took an instant dislike to someone at work who joined us a couple of months back during the induction I was carrying out. She was sacked 2 weeks later for insubordination, rudeness to 2 other members of staff and refusing to get up off a chair that was specifically assigned to someone under the DDA.

I think our insincts are primeval, and we lack the skills to interperet our feelings, but they can often be proved right.
It probably dates back to prehistoric man who would instinctively be wary of someone from another tribe who may smell, look, or just 'feel' different, and i think this instinct is still with us.
For me, it even extends to people on TV - of whom I obviously have no personal experience. I am sure Alan Titchmarsh is really a perfectly nice guy but ...

It must be a Scorpio thing as I am one as well.
I instictively know if I can entrust anyone to 'enter' my life -not that its anything grand- but I dont have a load of friends (through choice) as I shield myself until I know I can trust them- the ones I have are the best in the world.
