card reader

can someone please help, i am trying to view some pics via my card reader but when i put the memory card in it says folder not found or access is not allowed, can anyone tell me what to do right, many thanks

It would help if you told us the type of memory card.

Could it be, for example, it is a high density card and your card reader cannot read a high density card.

its obviously my computer, i think, as i cant download direct from the camera either

At times I also experience this. Very gently jiggling the card in the slot, work for me.

I use several different brands of memory cards. Although all of them suppose to be the same size, I find some are a wee bit thinner so they need a bit of help.
