Toshiba RD-XV47KB
1 Answers
I live in the UK and have just had Freesat installed.
I do not have a digital TV but can now receive good digital signals.
Is there any way I can use my Toshiba RD-XV47KB to record digital programmes?

Your recorder will be receiving digital channels via the EXT or AV channels.
When you have found which channel it is, you will need to manually set your recorder to record the correct EXT or AV and leave your tv turned on to that channel. If you turn it off, you will record nothing, if you turn it over the recording will change as well.
To find what channel to record, switch your tv on to any digital channel. Turn your recorder on, put the channel at 0 and then change the channel down until you can see the tv programme you have the tv on to.
