What Ram Do i need???

Hi ive just bought a second hand Toshiba EQUIUM L20-197 PC Notebook off ebay,it comes with 512mb of Ram,i want to possibly buy 1 or maybe 2gb of extra Ram for it,does anyone know what type of Ram i need to look for? or can anyone find me the cheapest Ram on ebay that will fit this Laptop please and leave me a link??? im clueless when it comes to all this you see,cheers.
p.s it says Ram Technology=DDR2 SDRAM if this is any help thanks.

And run the program called Scan My System.

It will tell you how much memory you have, what type of memory it is, and what your options are for upgrading.

My GUESS is that your laptop can take a maximum of 2Gb (unless it is very new).

It will probably have 2 slots for the memory, so you will probably need to take the 512Mb out and put in TWO 1Gb memory strips.

But if you run that program it will tell you exactly.

Write it down then buy from somewhere less expensive.
I`ve had some really cheap ram from ebay.
