my gmail sign in procedure has suddenly change --my user name+password now throws up some squigly letters i have to type in to log on--i've tried this god knows how many times and it will not accept what i type--was beginning to think my age is getting to me--anyway for my user name i normally only have to type my actual first name and not my full gmail address--that is when i get the squigly letters--when i now type my full gmail addr + p/w i get logged on--i searched my account and found ref to "labs" settings and followed instr. how to disabled all labs--this did not cure the sign in hassle--i also clicked on older version but after signing out and trying to get back in i get the same problem--it has reverted to newer version and gives me the same problem--how do i get it to use the older version by defaut? btw i have a second gmail acc for business and it is ok--no need to put in the full gmail addr to sign in--any help appreciated--cheers
