Canada entry question
0 Answers
I'm a UK citizen with a UK passport who was convicted of a felony (driving under the influence) while in the US on vacation 5 years ago.
Will this conviction stop me from entering Canada from the UK?
I understand that Canada and the US share a criminal database and therefore I might be "technically" prevented from entry, but as a practical matter (assuming I'm planning on keeping quiet about it) would my conviction show up at Canadian customs when I hand them a UK passport?
I've heard they don't ask tourists about convictions frequently unless they find you suspicious, but its the database/computer read passports that concern me. Thank you.
