Emails removal

Why can't I remove emails from my messages.I can transfer them into my trash folder,but the I can't remove them from their either.Have tried system restore,but ths didn't work.Thanks.

because every single email client in the world is not the same nobody will be able to answer this unless you enlighten us to what software/method you use for your emails..

As CF indicates, it's not possible to answer your question without knowing which email client you're using.

However, I'll guess that it's Outlook Express (simply because that's the most frequently used client). If so, make sure that there's nothing you want to keep in your Inbox. (Copy any important mail to another folder). Close Outlook Express. Run a search for the file Inbox.dbx. Right-click on that file and select 'delete'. Restart your PC, open Outlook Express and, as if by magic, you'll have a brand new (totally empty) Inbox.

Repeat to delete, and then recreate, your Trash (or Deleted Items) folder.
