Blackberry Storm. arrgghhhhh!

okay, so I'm thick.

I've been given a Blackberry Storm phone, but have no manual.

how do I turn the bloody thing on?

thanks bigmamma, I was given it just as my nice Nokia was playing up. my brother works for Blackberry :o)

You don't have to charge it till the battery is full at all. Press the red button (bottom right) and hold it for a good few seconds. It'll come on but takes a little while!

totally off topic... but to do the heart on a laptop hold down FN as well as alt and use the EXTRA numbers on the 7,8,9,U,I,O,J,K,L, KEYS.

oh yes, it's the Fn, Alt and L for Lurve!

holding down that red button really should turn it on (ooo errr)

it should have the standard Power symbol on the button as well.

Disconnect the charger, remove the battery for a minute, and then put the battery back in and try again.

evidently it is not turned on.. I must be doing something wrong!

I don't see a standard power button. it has a green phone, blackberry symbol, back (arrow) symbol and a red phone. everything else is on the touch screen.. if only it would come on! I've taken the battery out a couple of times but will try it again later. I have to head out shortly.

Ethel, lovely to see you again! I didn't want to bother my brother as he is dealing with a bereavement but we did speak today and he said, "I'll have to look at it some time". bless!
