Anyone using IE8 yet ?

All the reports I have read about IE8 on here so far have been negative, but user have been downloading the Beta Trial version. Microsoft launched the new version this week through Windows Up-Dates and so far I have not had a problem with it apart from the fact that my HP Smart Web Printing is not compatible just yet until HP upgrade this facility.
Would be interested in hearing the views of others who are now using IE8!

It is in my list of Windows updates - and that's where it is staying for the time being.

I am not going to "upgrade" until I am pretty sure that it is not going to cause problems.

Hi Rollo !
I fully understand your apprehension regarding some of these downloads from Microsoft as a few months ago one of their optional Up-Dates caused my Mouse to freeze up completely and I had to purchase a new one from PC world with USB facility to get going again.
You could download IE8 and try it out and if you do not like it you can always un-install it and revert back to IE7.
So far so good for me using Vista Home Basic apart from Smart Print facility.
