Want a new printer but....
4 Answers
which one do I choose? I have a Lexmark at the moment but their cartridges are very highly priced. Have looked at the Kodak ESP5 the Printer & Prosper range & the reviews look quite good and their print cartridges are very reasonable. I know there has been a which? report recently for printers & would love to know which ones came out well. I need a photo quality one. Would like views from other AB'ers. thanks

There is a man on ebay selling 8 cartridges (not genuine Epson) (any colours you want claimed to be high capacity, twice normal ink) for less than 10 including postage. Theoretically 100 worth of Epson ink for under 10.
Guess where I get my cartridges?

When I ran a small printing business, I occasionally needed to use inkjet printers and frequently helped customers who had problems with theirs.
Some manufacturers, notably Lexmark, practically give away their printers but make their money on replacement ink cartridges.
Others, notably Canon, make their money by selling good quality printers that use cheaper ink cartridges.
Canon developed ink jet technology and in my view are still the best.
