Just sat on my nokia 2630 and have cracked the screen.... only had it a couple of weeks!!

Still can recieve calls and make them without any display.

So couple of things....

Firstly how much should it cost to get the screen replaced (or will I better off buying new 2630 again, it was only 35)

Secondly all my numbers were stored to the phone not the sim...how do I transfer them (havent got any display) to sim so can put on my spare ?

Many Thanks,

Simon

I'd buy another handset and save yourself the cost and hassle of replacing the broken screen.

Does your existing phone have Bluetooth, infrared or a cable to transfer files? Any of those will allow you to transfer your contacts to your PC then transfer them again to your new handset.
which network ??

it's on 02..... has blue tooth but can't see the screen, so don't know which buttons to press?
Take it to a mobile phone shop, should cost around 20 for a new screen, Orange wanted 100 to fix a cracked screen
if you have got nokia pc suite on your comp plug or blue tooth you mobe to it and do a back up on the comp then if you get another nokia restore the back upon it

Might be easier to take it to a shop if I can get it done for around 20....

Would give it a try...backing up to PC suite via blue tooth, but can't actually see my screen so dont know what to press to turn bluetooth on and send numbers across..... any ideas - nokia 2630?

Sy
