Is there anything more useless than collecting Airmiles ?
I had collected a couple of thousand but whenever I tried to use them there were so many restrictions that I gave up and recently when I tried to book a flight to Spain they said my account was dormant and I would have to pay 30 to reactivate it, which wiped out much of any savings on the fare.

Morning sara.
good morning sqad, and how the devil are you?
Fine, will be in the UK this weekend for 2days.

We seemed to have missed each other on AB recently.
I ducked out for a week or so. too much stuff going on in my house!

but I missed you, obviously. shall I pick you up at Luton?
Would love that sara....but flying into Manchester LOL I do however remember the last time you picked me up, you were so desirable, but you managed to keep me at bay. LOL
my will is weak, come to Luton ;o)

Sqad BA ! I think they started the scheme many years back. On Google there are many complaints about them. I guess my question was really about freebee collecting in general such as Nectar and Argos points etc and I wondered how they compared.
Thanks modeller.
I had the same problem Modeller. I had collected nearly 2,000 airmiles and when I tried using them they could only be used on the most expensive flights so I would have to provide a top up and taxes and other extra bits.

The whole scheme is crap!
