I'm writing an 80s quiz evening and clearly, what would an 80s night be without music?

Trouble is, my technical know how stops at cds onto cassette tapes (oh the shame - and i'm only in my 30s) and I hoped that someone might be able to tell me if it is possible to take just a section of an MP3 and rip it onto a cd...

otherwise it'll be tapes for me (although that does have a lovely kitsch 80s thing going on...)

you can use an MP3 joiner Cathy
Cathy, you can download a program called 'Audacity' and you can edit as much or as little as you want from your mp3 files and then burn them onto a CD. I guess you'll be doing sections of about 30 seconds. The program is ideal for this.
