I am constanly getting a message telling me
(recovery D file is full ) then sends me to disk clean up but nothing happens.
Any ideas please

recovery D: is the recovery partition only . Sounds like you are storing files there ? You should leave this untouched in case you need to recover the system

Yes, I agree with HillyHugger. I would move any files you`ve stored on there, (apart from your recovery files) back to your c drive or another drive, if you have one.
