satellite time delay

I've heard rumours that it is possible to get satellite tv with no time delays. Does anyone know how to do this?

It takes a minimum of one quarter of a second for the signal to travel from the uplink station to the satellite and back to your house.
In addition there would be delays from the signal being stored in buffers at the ground station and on the satellite. The buffers are there to overcome short signal dropouts.
