my son was on their pc after 25 mins it froze so i restarted it,they both have their own account but only 1 is showing up and it signs in on my eldest lads account.i tried doing a scan but nothing would open up,i went to try a full disc check and that wouldnt open, but the messenger signed in,a game opened up and the media player.if it was anything else id do full scans etc but i cant do anything.

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode? (Press F8 during the boot process).

If you can get into Safe Mode you might be able to run System Restore from there.
