syncing 2 ipods?

can i sync 2 ipods to the same itunes account?

I have an ipod video that is my main ipod but im wanting to buy a ipod shuffle that i can use when i'm out jogging and cycling, but will i be able to sync it with my itunes account and add music purchased thats already beed synced to the other ipod.
