changing my internet to new pc

I am buying a new pc, i am with virgin internet at the moment would i have to contact them to get the internet onto my new pc or does it just plug in and work ?

I concur.

Just to make sure, turn off your modem/router before swapping the cable from your old PC to your new one.

Then turn the modem/router on first, give it a minute, then turn your new PC on.
