I have not used Bing so have no idea how good it is, but it will take a while for people to get out of the habit of using Google.
I have to say Bing is a TERRIBLE name.
Mind you, I have to say that Microasoft are very good at grabbing "market share" for their products, like with Windows, Office, Internet Explorer etc) so it would not surprise me if they have some devious plan to try to get us all to use Bing.
I bet it is already the default search engine for Internet Explorer.

Yes, and shortly they are to roll out Windows 7 said to replace Vista which has had such a short life. This can only shorten the demise of support for XP which will then rake in extra $billions for the new product.

Using the analogy of an old car when things go wrong with it you change certain parts or repair it. In the end this canabalised motor is still fit for the scrap heap because the failure of one part affects many other parts.
Applying this to XP the initial design and concept has altered so much it no longer conforms to the original software design as changes upon changes have made it a crock.
